About the Con:
We all remember waking up on Saturday, free from the commitment of school and wanting to do nothing but enjoy a well earned cartoon binge. For some of us that was Schoolhouse Rock and the Jetsons, and for others it was Danny Phantom and Johnny Bravo. Whatever our preference, we all loved cartoons and the profound impact they had on us.

However, one thing that we haven’t really seen is a convention for them specifically. Pick a date and you can find a con for anime, video games, or anything else under the sun. We here at Saturday Morning Contoons want to change that by finally giving such a venue to people of all ages, backgrounds and tastes of Western animation.

We want you to come together to talk about the interesting animation styles of South Park, whether Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny had a bigger cultural impact, or even just how cool your favorite shows are. All in all, we want to have a forum to celebrate all that cartoons have to offer and we want you to join us.

About our Future:
We want to be the ultimate go to convention for, not only to celebrate Western Animation, but to learn about how to be a part of it. Whether it be learning how to get into voice acting, storyboarding, animation itself, or anything else involved in making cartoons come to life. Even if that’s not what you’re looking for we want to be a place where you can have in depth conversations about the richness of cartoons or even just find people who like the same stuff you do. Ultimately we want to be the convention everyone thinks of when they want to celebrate their favorite cartoons.

About the Owners:
Saturday Morning CONtoons is run by Earth Ponies LLC, a single member LLC who is crazy about everything animation. Our founder has actively been involved with Western animation for years now, and is finally getting to pursue his passion – as well as share it with you!
